Vickie has been involved as the hands on lead financial advisor and/or debt provider (bank, bond and/or related swaps) for the winning consortiums for 25 infrastructure projects in Canada since 2005 and has been involved in 60+ bids.
She is adept and knowledgeable in both the bond and bank markets having completed financings in both for a variety of infrastructure and energy projects over the last 20+ years. She is a recognized and sought after market leader in the structuring and execution of many PPP debt financings and was any early champion of using the bond markets.
Vickie joined RBC’s Infrastructure Finance team in 2007, appointed Co-Head of the team in 2015 and has been involved in the infrastructure sector since 1998. Her experience in the field has ranged from project finance advisory, debt structuring (bond, bank and swaps), loan syndications and corporate debt structuring (bond, bank and swaps).
Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets, Vickie spent 12 years working in the debt capital markets (infrastructure and utilities team), loan syndications and treasury credit groups for a major Canadian bank. Prior to that she worked in corporate banking for 3 foreign banks in Canada.
She is Co-Chair and a member of the steering committee for the Toronto chapter of WIN, a member of the steering committee for Women In Energy Canada (WIECan) and a member of the Planning and Construction Committee for Unity Health Toronto.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, and an MBA in Finance from York University.
